The Kawarau Gorge Trail is due to open, and we're riding it together as one of the first groups through.
We'll start in Gibbston and ride towards Cromwell. The trail follows the Kawarau River through the gorge, past old gold-mining sites and across suspension bridges. We finish in Bannockburn with a long lunch at the local pub.
Transport and a bike trailer are sorted, E-Bikes can be hired through member Shay from Ride to the Sky.
It's a new trail, a good crew and a full day out. Spots are limited.
