International Women’s Day 2026 carries the theme #GiveToGain - the belief that progress toward gender equality accelerates when opportunity, influence, knowledge, trust, and sponsorship are intentionally shared.

But there’s a harder question underneath it: If women are continually encouraged to give - time, access, emotional labour, mentorship, insight - how do we ensure they are also building wealth, equity, and ownership in equal measure?

This event brings together people for a candid, commercially grounded conversation about power. Not performative empowerment. Not titles or optics. But what actually shifts influence and builds lasting wealth.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • Generosity without ownership doesn’t build wealth. Women must move from contribution to equity - ensuring influence translates into capital, decision-making power, and long-term accumulation.
  • Sponsorship is leverage; unpaid labour is depletion. Understanding the difference is critical to accelerating both equality and personal growth.
  • Giving should create strategic advantage. When knowledge, networks, and opportunity are shared intentionally, they multiply - for the giver as well as the receiver.
  • Visibility is not the same as power. Titles and recognition matter less than ownership, equity, and control of outcomes.
  • What we give next must build systems, not just individuals. Sustainable progress requires shifting structures - so the next generation doesn’t have to choose between lifting others and building wealth.
  • How do we balance ambition with rest and self-worth?
  • The importance of community in leadership.

Equality isn’t just about access. It’s about accumulation. Capital. Equity. Decision-making power.

#GiveToGain challenges us to share opportunity.
