Mountain Club roundtables bring members together in an intimate, facilitated setting designed for open, honest conversation. These sessions foster meaningful connections and practical insight-sharing, allowing participants to learn from real experiences and leave with ideas they can immediately apply.

This month's invite only roundtable is curated around creativity. For creative directors, studio founders, producers, artists, editors and commissioners who lead creative work and teams. These roundtables examine craft and commerce: how to protect creative integrity while building sustainable businesses, how to collaborate across disciplines and how to make work that reaches audiences and clients.

Topics we explore:

  • Creative process, critique and collaborative practice
  • Commissioning, briefs and client/agency dynamics
  • New distribution and monetisation models (digital platforms, audience-first strategies)
  • Scaling studios, retaining craft and building resilient freelance ecosystems

What to expect:
Show-and-tell sessions, short creative workshops and constructive feedback loops. Expect a mix of portfolio discussion, rapid experimentation and strategic problem-solving with peers who commission and make work.
